Miles is a highly skilled Chartered Financial Planner who prides himself on attention to detail and helping clients make sense of complex financial subjects. He enjoys helping clients plan for the future and manage their wealth effectively.
He has worked in the financial services industry over 28 years. While working for two major pension and investment companies, Miles became an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute [ACII] (a Level 6 qualification) and worked as a technical adviser and later as a relationship manager. It was during this time that Miles acquired his in-depth understanding of pensions, protection and investments. In his last role with an insurance company he was appointed to develop the investment knowledge of the relationship managers.
In 2003 Miles joined a local firm of Independent Financial Advisers, becoming a director of his firm in 2004. In 2005 he joined Fraser Heath as the firm's Pension Specialist. He gained further qualifications as an Associate of the Personal Finance Society [APFS] and is a Chartered Financial Planner.
He has also qualified through examination as a Divorce Specialist, accredited by Resolution, and is one of around 30 IFAs in the country to have been reaccredited with this specialism. He has delivered presentations on pensions and financial planning on divorce to solicitors across the South West. He is an active member of both the Bristol and the Bath collaborative "pods", as well as being a member of the Regional Collaborative Family Law committee.
Outside of work, Miles' passions include spending time with his family, running and supporting Bristol City. He is presently the vice chair of Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust.
